| 05/03/24 | SALEM CIRCUIT COURT | DUI 1st w/BAC .19 | This case was appealed from the General District Court. It was imperative that the client did not get convicted of a DUI because he has a Commercial Driver's License in Michigan and runs his own lumber company and would not be insurable if he got convicted, in addition to a one year suspension of his CDL. We were able to get the charge amended to Reckless Driving. Client received a 60 day jail sentence (He had already done 24 days on a bond revocation and had 1 day credit from the arrest.), so he can do the final 10 days by pulling 5 days on weekends.
